Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Asia-Oceania Chapter of IFCN (International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology), I am delighted to welcome you to the 8th AOCCN (Asian Oceanian Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology), held in Taipei, Taiwan, from November 21 to 23, 2025.

It is worth mentioning that the 2025 AOCCN in Taipei is re-started as an in-person congress 8 years after the 2017 Bengaluru meeting in India. The tremendous global impact of COVID-19 triggered the reforming of the 7th Malaysia AOCCN into a virtual conference. I sincerely believe the 8th AOCCN will be an exciting event, allowing all attendees to direct mutual communication, permitting old friends to renew acquaintances and new colleagues to build friendships. All of these will be essential and precious for fostering reciprocal collaboration and making advances in the scope of clinical neurophysiology.

The Scientific Program and Teaching Courses, mainly organized by Professor Rou-Shayn Chen and Ming-Kuei Lu, will explore a wide range of topics, from conventional techniques commonly used in clinical practice (nerve conduction studies, EEG, neuros-sonography and others) to cutting-edge innovative methods now used in research fields (TUS, Stereo-EEG, and others).

We are confident that 2025 AOCCN offers an exceptional opportunity to provide all attendants with unforgettable experience and useful new knowledge for future clinical practice and research.

Please join us to stay at the forefront of advancements in clinical neurophysiology.

With best wishes

Yoshikaze Ugawa
President, Asia-Oceania Chapter of IFCN
