Executive Summary:
Dr. Jiann-Shing Jeng received his MD at Department of Medicine, College of Medicine; PhD at Department of Epidemiology, College of Public Health; and EMBA at College of Management, National Taiwan University. Now, he is professor and director at Department of Neurology, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, and National Taiwan University Hospital.
Besides, he is President of both Taiwan Neurological Society and Taiwan Neurocritical Care Society. He had ever been the President of Taiwan Stroke Society, and chief editor of Formosan Journal of Stroke. He is honorary director of Taiwan Stroke Society, editor of the Journal of the Formosan Medical Association.
His research interests focus on cerebrovascular diseases, neurocritical care, neurosonology and neuroepidemiology. He is the principal investigator of Taiwan Registry of Endovascular Thrombectomy for Acute lschemic Stroke (TREAT-AIS), and Taiwan Post-Stroke Disability Study (T-PODS). Dr. Jeng has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers published in international outstanding journals, including NEJM, Lancet Neurology, BMJ, Circulation, Annals of Neurology, Brain, Neurology, JNNP, Stroke, Journal of Stroke, Stroke & Vascular Neurology, International Journal of Stroke, Stroke: Vascular and Interventional Neurology, European Journal of Neurology, European Stroke Journal, Scientific Reports, Journal of the Neurological Sciences, etc.
