Dr. Dean Wu is a distinguished neurologist and sleep medicine specialist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in Taiwan.
Dr. Wu earned his Medical Degree from Chung Shan Medical University (1993), followed by a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2001) and a PhD in Clinical Medicine from Taipei Medical University (2014).
He completed his neurology residency at Taipei City Hospital Renai Branch and subsequently served as Chief of Neurology and Medical Director at various leading institutions. Notably, he directed the Sleep Medicine Center at Wan Fang Hospital (Taipei), Shuang Ho Hospital (Ministry of Health and Welfare), and established one of Taiwan’s most active sleep medicine programs.
From 2018 to 2021, Dr. Wu was Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Shuang Ho Hospital. He served as Secretary-General of the Taiwan Neurological Society (2021–2023) and has been a board member of the Taiwan Society of Sleep Medicine since 2016.
Board-certified in both Neurology (1999) and Sleep Medicine (2012), Dr. Wu is recognized nationally for his expertise in neurological disorders, sleep-related breathing disorders, and multidisciplinary sleep medicine. He continues to contribute significantly to clinical care, medical education, and professional society leadership in Taiwan.
