Executive Summary：
Dr. Wei Chieh, CHANG M. D., is the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Show Chwan Memorial Hospital, Chang Hwa County, Taiwan. He obtained his MD at the National Defence Medical Centre in Taipei in 2001. He received the Board Certification as Neurosurgeon in 2009. He received his clinical fellowship program in Hôpital Lariboisière, Paris from 2014 to 2015. He started to organize and direct the skullbase cadaver course in ircad-Taiwan since 2017.In mid-2017, he set up the first focused ultrasound brain treatment center in Taiwan and started the first essential tremor treatment with MRgFUS. Till now, he had treated more then 120 patients with ET, PD and Dystonia. His team collaborated with Philippine General Hospital and started the first XDP treatment with MRgFUS. He also started the clinical trials about dystonia and Parkinson disease since 2019.
Dr. CHANG is Member of the APFUS since 2023.His main operative and scientific interests are endoscopic endonasal skullbase surgery and functional neurosurgery with MRI guided focused ultrasound.
